Keeping my folder view constant14 Mar 2008 22:28 GMT2
Whenever I set my folder view on List, it will stay there for a while and
then (all of a sudden) it will change to Tiles.  After I change it to List, I
go into Tools, Folder Options, View, and Apply to All Folders.  Then I hit

Every morning I have a routine that I follow, visiting many web pages,
checking email, etc.
Yesterday after going through this routine, I ran Ad-Aware2007 I found 5
Tracking Cookies as follows:

when starting up the first page appears with the system information then  
stops telling me to press f1 if i want to continue how do i stop this
happening.this problem started after a power cut with the computer switched on

I have 2 DVD drives and both have stopped playing certain DVDs, mainly retail
ones but also some DVD games.  I have no problem with CDs and most Copied
DVDs.  I have tried updating the firmware.  I have all the codecs I need and

Going crazy here...I have no volume control available. My soundcard is
Creative Labs soundblaster. Apparently I am missing the volume control system
files.
Windows says I need to install sndvol32.exe by going to the control panel

While trying to format my hard disc, I found that, I could not format my
hard disc in FAT32 file system.

This may seem odd, but here's what's happening. First off, I have a customer
who has 7 PC's, at least 3 of them are COMPQ computers, and the others are
DELL's and ANTEC computer. Here's what is happening...

I have been going through some of my mp3 music files & updating the
properties....
Now, nearly all of them have the expected standard Artist, Album Title,
Year, Track Number, Genre, Lyrics... etc.... under 'music' in the

Hello!  I have Windows XP 2005 Media version and I use AVG for virus
protection.  My computer is approx 18 months old and under warranty but I am
not getting any help over the phone and that is all they are offering at this
point.

I can't delete any of the 218 fonts on my machine.  I get the "Be sure
the drie isn't full" message even when I try to delete unused fonts
like Windings2.
