I am running Windows XP Professional SP2 with all available updates.  I am

Hi I have Windows XP SP2 and all updates (supposedly) Computer did not
update DST this morning. Have been having problems with programs that set
time preceding (Mozilla Sunbird) March 9.

I may be re-installing XP soon, and I was thinking about ordering the CD for
XP SP2. I was wondering if the SP2 cd will contain media player 11, and IE
7, or do you still have to go out and download that stuff after putting on
SP2.

I just got an A696 but XP will not let me connect to it via USB.  In Device
Manager it gives me a ? symbol under USB devices.  When I try to load a
driver by having it find one, it says it cannot find a driver.  There is no
info on the ASUS website that can help.  Any help here?

A long time ago I was able to do some sort of tweak
so when I had to open a file list it looked exactly like
my Windows Explorer and everything was in one long
column.

My laptop auto clicks mouse button if pointer is left on an action box for
over 2-3 seconds. IT IS DRIVING MY WIFE CRAZY!!! Therefore, she is driving me
crazy to disable it. I have tried every menu and every option I can think of.
Please help me figure this one out.

When I was first setting up my system, Windows XP Pro asked me to enter the
user names that would be using the computer.  After that when I rebooted,
Icons with user names would appear at startup.  How do I get back to that?

Now and again, say once a month,  Windows (XP SE) fails to find my network
card. In order to make it do so, a "cold" reboot is necessary. Pushing the
reset button alone won't achieve it. Is this normal or does it mean that
there is something seriously wrong either with my network ...

Is there a way to copy my favorites to a USB flash drive? I want to copy
them on to my wife's laptop.

I just noticed that reading a file updates the "Date Modified." Even using the
TYPE command in a command window updates the Date Modified, even though the
TYPE command cannot possibly modify the content of a file.
