I am running Windows XP Home. I have a standalone laptop, no network.
As of now, anyone can start my computer and get it. Windows XP Home has No
login security! I cannot stop anyone from getting into my computer.
I looked at www.download.com and could not find it.

My Broad Band service (Insight) was recently bought out by Comcast.
I had changed the configuration for 'netnews' to the comcast.net settings
and cannot get access to those groups with a message that the server could
not be accessed.  I did not change any settings on msnews ...

I am abandoning Vista due to persistent USB problems and returning to XP. I
have installed all BIOS updates and chipset drivers for Vista. So if I go
back to XP, should I install the XP BIOS and chipset driver before or after
formatting?

Does anyone know how to choose the default bullets? My default bullets got
changed so that the "Close Windows" "X" that normally appears in the Top
Right Corner of each window is now a box and arrows on menus are now little

I've got a Sony Vaio PCG-FXA36; one drive, two partitions; C part has a 7.8GB
capacity with 19% free space at this point in time; D part has a 10.82GB
capacity with 92% free space at this point.  C part is FAT32; D part is NTFS.
