I have a strange problem.  If i open a program window e.g. internet
explorer, all is well for a short time, then the window refuses to respond
to any command even to close.  I then open prog man with ctrl alt del then
close it by clicking twice on the 'x' close box(it won't close ...

In the C:\Windows\temp folder there are some 400 files named zlt plus
a number with the TMP extention.  Most seem to be about one year old,
but a few are newer.  The size is listed as 1 kb.
I opened some with Notepad, but nothing displays.

I had a motherboard crash. Putting together a new machine. Inxtalled XP Pro

I use Windows XP Service Pack 2 and IE7.
I am unable to download and install anything, on some items I am getting the

In the Windows/ folder there are many files with scarey
names like $ntServicePackUninstall$  and
$NtuninstallKB885836$.  Most of them are a year or more old.

Is there any way I can organise programs in the start menu into groups?  
E.g., I'd like to have a group for anti-virus & anti-spam software, another
one for games, etc... Can I put programs together, in the same folder?

I have been trying to download Flash Player, I click on download and am
asked to add the ActiveX Control which I do. Then the box appears inviting me
to Install, which I click on, the box goes, then nothing.
