Can anyone help me with Media Player 11.
When I play a DVD the controls below the screen, Brightness, Contrast,
Saturation and Hue have no effect. I was using Media 9 and asked for
help and someone suggest that I update to version 11.

My computer is Windows XP professional with a CD/DVD drive.  I have
experienced the following with two different programs:
I put the download CD in the drive and in each case the program will
partially download and then for no apparent reason the drive shuts down and

Inadvertently deleted gpedit32.dll from xp professional. I've tried to find
this file to reinstall it but could not find it anywhere. Can I just use the

I recently notice that when i shut down my WinXP Home computer . I'm
notified of a "Proxy Desktop" program
trying to close.  In order to complete the shutdown, I have to manually End
