Loging with any id I created (administrator's authority), after the desktop shows on the screen for 1-2 seconds, the desktop is disappeared, the screen goes to black as if the user just login, then, the desktop shows again (kind like restart), then, the system is OK. It does not ...

Previously I had my computer started so that the QUICK LAUNCH toolbar would display program icons. Now, whenever I reboot, the toolbar disappears and I have to right click on the task bar, select toolbars, and select Quick Launch.

I run windows XP pro, and I deleted a program file for MS Word so now I cannot access Word at all. Is there anyway I can retrieve something that was sent to the recycle bin and deleted in the Recycle Bin??

Somehow the PowerON got set to AUTO on my computer. I alway turn off my computer when away for an extended time and turn off the surge protector. Now when I power on the surge protector, my compter powers up w/o having to press the button.
