Due to a problem the motherboard was replaced with the same as it was before: IntelD865PERX (865E Chipset). At boot up now this comes up first on the screen: Intel (R) Boot Agent, GE v 1.2.10 PXE 2.1 Built 083 (WfM2.0)RPL

When I press F8 during boot-up on my Notebook computer it will not boot-up in Safe Mode. My initial feeling was that there is a F8 keyboard problem, but Fn+F8 toggles the sound on & off to my speaker as normal.

Here lately when I start up my computer (windows xp home edition) it gives me an error message. (Application has encountered a problem and needs to close. Sorry for any inconvenience.) Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance

Using Norton SystemWorks checkup I get the message that C:\Windows|System32\MAPISRVR.EXE cannot access gapi32.dll. So far as I know this has not created a problem. But I would like to know what the function of MAPISRVR.EXE and gapi32.dll is.

On XP when I follow the directions to turn on SR I get an error message that one of my drives is turned off. Below on the same screen used to turn SR on/off it says Drive C turned off. Drive C is working fine as far as I can tell. This is the only function not working on my PC. ...

Because my company is going from Windows NT 2000, to XP Professional, I bought XP Pro for my home computer. I "Ghosted" my old "C" drive to a new 120 GB hard drive. I then tried loading XP Pro, but it did not overwrite NT

I tried to install sp1 on my wifes computer and at restart it now goes into a reboot loop. Just reboots over and over. I can not get to safe mode or anywhere. I did a repair installation and it now runs but the same thing

My computer has been acting a little strange on startup recently. It seems that at some point, the services that load up on startup, stop loading. It takes about two minutes before they finish loading.

Just reloaded windows xp and am getting message Devcon32.dll cannot be found. Is there a fix for this? There is still no plug and play on this box. This computer was upgraded from win ME and is using fat32.
