My computer's brightness is perfect when it is plugged in, but when I unplug it an it is running on battery, it darkens so much that I can hardly see. Is there any to make it so it doesn't change and if so, how? Thanks!

I keep getting this message "INVALID ACTIVEX/COM ENTRIES" I fix them with Norton's Windows Doctor and they keep comming back. They are causing my system to run very slow and it might cause it to crash. How do I fix this

Everytime I reboot my computer now, my taskbar reverts back to being 1 row in height, when it was originally 2, and my control panel view is in details view, instead of Icons. No matter what I have tried, the settings will not stick after a reboot.
