I am running windows xp pro with Sp 1A.
I am having problems installing any new hardware on my
system.
So far, I have not been able to install a new usb card

I just installed Windows XP Home.  Previously, my OS was
Windows 2000 Pro.  My intent was to abandon Windows 2000.
Now at boot, I have to choose which OS I want to run.  I'd
like to erase all of Win2000 but am unable to do so.  When

I am working on a friends computer.  I installed a new
ATA133 hard drive on an appropriate controller card.  I
cloned the orignial drive and then set the boot drive in
the BIOS to SCSCI.  The computer seemed to boot to the

My XP logs off after about 10minutes of inactivity.

When my newly installed XP Pro OS boots, it goes to a
selection screen where I have to choose either the Win XP
Pro OS or Recovery Console.
How do I get it to boot directly to a user's name?
