   I have bought a new PC with WinXP installed. In this computer, D: has
been assigned to the CD-ROM drive, and C:, E: and F: are my hard drives. I
don't like this, and I prefer my CD-ROM drive be the last drive `as usual'.

I added an additional hard drive to my pc and installed xp
on it, then I removed it.  I don't know if this caused my
problem or not.  But now when I start my pc, just before
windows xp starts up I get a message on black screen that

For those not familiar with UNIX:
Restricted Shell means that, basically, you log directly into the
application.  No icons, no options, just the application.  Any action that
exits the application, logs out the session back to the login panel.
