i ordered a security update cd from microsoft.....(feb

I have a windows xp sp1 laptop and I made some network shares setup for
offline use. The issue that im have is sometimes when i connect my laptop to
the network and i do a start > Run > \\server I only see the folder that is
setup for offline use. I press F5 to refresh and same ...

I have a FAST backup which will not unpack.  Some of the

When I enter Alt,Ctrl, Delete to launch the Task Manager
Nothing Happens. I have also typed taskman in the run box

I am running Win XP. I am unable to defrag due to
inconsistancies on the disk. When I click to check the
disk and reboot it tells me that the "C"drive cannot be
accessed. Is there a way to access C again? I'm not sure
