I have tried the usual method of setting the folder
options back to "open in same window", but to no effect.
All my folders open there child folders in new
windows...this is very annoying.

accidentaly i put grub loader in a windows partition instaed of MBR, but
after fixmbr c: and fixboot c: called from recovery console i still have
"disk error" when calling windowsXP. what can i do more to omit
reinstallation ?

When I installed XP my harddrive was shown as C: and was
listed as a 'System' partition.
Now my harddrive does not have a letter associated with
it and it is listed as 'Active'.  However, it seems to

I am having problems deleting folders in XP. I have many folders that
have subfolders and files in them. When I am finished with them I
normally just select them in windows explorer and hit the delete key.
However lately I am unable to do that. I get this error message.....
