I have tried the usual method of setting the folder options back to "open in same window", but to no effect. All my folders open there child folders in new windows...this is very annoying.

accidentaly i put grub loader in a windows partition instaed of MBR, but after fixmbr c: and fixboot c: called from recovery console i still have "disk error" when calling windowsXP. what can i do more to omit reinstallation ?

When I execute msconfig it flashes on the console and then disappears..same dor regedit and also task manager The computer was hit by a virus and I thought I got it all out. But now I am not so sure

Installshield has somehow corrupted my copy of NTOSKRNL.EXE. I have access to the XP Professional install disks and want to repair this installation. Do I use the "recovery console"? How do I copy this file over to the SYSTEM32 directory?
