Is there a command in XP that would temporarily enable a user to do
administrator tasks without logging in and out??

Upon completion of bootup I get the message
C:\WINNT\system32\NVMCTRAY.DLL not found.  I suspect it
could be an nvida card issue but the machine does not have
such a card.  I'd like to get rid of this message.

I continue to get a window which opens and says Auto
Play. A small flash ligth moves from left to right and

I've performed a REPAIR install on XP Pro and updated
install via update scan and download.  Situation is that
there are no outstanding updates.

When I try to load my Quicken application to my new

I have a stand alone system.  It has two hard drives and
I had a third with no idea what it has. I replaced my
normal slave and this new drive(set to slave I think).  
When I booted the BIOS didn't recognize any hard drives.  

When I try to run msconfig I get the menu to come up but
it disappears after a couple of seconds-the menu will not
stay up. Any thoughts on this. Also I have windows xp home

Do I need to reload XP?

I need to remove the My Pictures and My Music Folders from the default
user profile. I am building an image for deployment and do not want
these folders appearing for new users (or at all). I have removed the
shortcuts from the start menu for these folders, but I cannot find out

I would like to use the Scheduled Tasks feature, but it requires a password.
If I create a password for myself (I am the only user of the PC), it then
wants me to enter it every time I boot up. Is there any way I can have a
password so I can use Scheduled Tasks, but not have to ...
