I just reinstalled windows Xp on my Laptop, and everything
went as planned. But, i have no option to enter stand by.
Not even in the advanced power options. It is very
strange? Is there anything i can do?

My copy of windows XP home has started acting up and i think either a virus
or malware has gotten on to it.

I just installed Recovery Console.  When I run it, it

My current operating system is Windows XP Media Center
Edition.  When I place my computer into hibernate mode,
it turns itself back on after random periods of time.  
Any suggestions as to how to correct this?  I was using

When I right-click on the title bar of a window or program in my
desktop computer, I don't get the usual context menu. Instead, the
window or program closes without warning.
This is not true in my laptop, only in my desktop.

I recently bought a new hard drive.  I have WinXP on my old hard drive
and commenced to install WinXP on my new hard drive using the WinXP on
my old hard drive, i.e. i formatted new drive and opened install disks

I am trying to redirect shared folders on a stand-alone computer running
Windows XP Professional.  When I open gpedit.msc, Folder Redirection does
