I am using a Dell Inspiron 1150 purchased with Home edition earlier this
year. I  have converted the system to XP. In all applications (and I mostly
use VB/6  VBDotNet and Office XP) typing at reasonable speed, periodically
the cursor leaps to a different part of the document.

installation was infected by virus/spyware so installed Win XP the second
time.  How to uninstall one of the instances now that system is cleaned up?

I've got a laptop that was originally configured to a corporate spec so
doesn't have most of the display property tabs shown other than <settings>.
I presume there is a registry key to re-set.

I have a user running Word 2000 on Windows XP.  Every morning this person
starts the day with a clicking frenzy.  This seems to result of multiple
instances of Winword.exe running at the same time.  This causes error
messages as one normally runs just one instance of Winword.exe ...

I'm constantly getting an error message saying 'low disk space on C:'.
I erased old files, uninstalled almost everything I could, then found
that my windows folder was taking about 4 gig of space.

I am running Windows XP on my Dell Laptop which is a Pentium 4.  My problem
is I cannot see my tasks on my taskbar.  I can see my quicklaunch and address
bar, but no task is showing up.  How can I fix this issue?

I'm not sure how I did it, but minimized programs are not showing in my
Taskbar in Windows XP.  I can restore running programs by using alt-Tab, but

I have SBS2K on my server and XP Pro on all desktops. I can connect to my
server with "Remote Desktop Connection" but not clients.  I get an error:
"The client could not connect to the remote computer" "Remote connections
