I've 2 HD in my son's computer. The Drive0 on whiwh I boot windows XP
(40Go) and Drive1 which data (80Go)
Drive0 is becoming very slow and I start to have error message on it
and I'm going to install XP on the second before the first one fails.

I purchased a lightly used IBM thinkpad with XP
professional.  It was represented as brand new, but had
actually been used a small amount.
I'm trying to eradicate all the original owners

Some windows files are not working for example if I btry
to install any windows component i get an error message

i went into system configuration, changed to safe mode
under boot tab changed to minimal (alternateshell), now i
am stuck in DOS.

I have installed Xp Pro and each time I reboot the file
folder Windows\sytem32 comes up. What can I do to stop
this? Ther is no arrow message the folder just comes
up.   HELP ?????

When I boot XP Pro now I get:
"Windows could not load the installer for CDROM" any ideas what's causing
this?

Why cannot the short date display be shown in English!
The short date is shown as Month/Date/Year - in English
it should be Date/Month/Year.
Is there a way round this?
