Is there a way to start the System Restore service from the command line once
it's been stopped via My Computer/Properties/System Restore/Turn off System
Restore?  When I try starting it with the command net start srservice, I get
the following message:

Since I installed XP back in June, I have been getting the ‘new hardware
found’ wizard every time windows start.  My printers are working fine
however.  It is now annoying and I tried to delete the LPTENUM key and I

I have Win XP Professional + SP2 on my laptop.
Last nignt, I have uninstalled Roxio (CD / DVD burning SW).
When I started my laptop this morning, it says "autocheck.exe" is not found,
