I have 3 computers on my home LAN. One is running WinXP the other two Win98se. I have tried to remove all of the drive sharing from all of the computers. the 2 98 machines work fine but the XP machine refuses to update the list of drives available and still show that the drives

On some computers, If you double-click on User Accounts - it brings up the GREY ControlUserPasswords2 dialog box. On other computers a different screen apears listing the users and an Icon with tasks. Are there any windows settings that would make that happen?

I just installed a DVD +/- RW. I noticed that after it was installed when I go to explorer the DVD is displayed as a CompactFlash/MicroDrive(E:) and not as a DVD/CD drive can you explain why and how to change it to a DVD if possible.

In the SHELL I type de command DATE and show "Current date is: 10/10/2004" , no show the weekday. This occur in the spanish version but I suppose that would can to happen same in the english version. ? Somebody know why ?

For some reason, the log off or switch user function on my computer has stopped working. I can only logg off the user I'm in, instead of being able to swith the user. I don't get the option any more.

We purchased 10 HP d220 computers, all identical, came with XP Pro/SP1 installed. We purchased a 15 user license for Office 2003, which installed just fine and works on all accounts on all 10 computers.

After downloading SP2 I cant open PDF files from the web. (PDF's on the hard drive work just fine.) It must be something in the Windows Explorer settings, but I can't seem to find it. Any ideas would be welcome.
