I have just upgraded a Win98SE PC to XP-Pro. The headphone jack on the DVD
drive has now gone dead (it worked before). Any idea how this could happen?
How do I fix it?

Ever since I installed SP2, my computer goes into standby and doesn't wake
up. It is set to allow the keyboard to wake the computer; the option wasn't

I run XP Home, operating on a Celeron D Prescott core which I learned the
hard way does not cope at all well with XP SP 2. I had to entirely reinstall
XP.  In doing so, I also took the opportiunity to delete some unused

I was working on my machine yesterday and it froze so I rebooted, (am
running XP PRO Sp2), now when I tried to reboot, it would pass the bios test
and then start to load windows and then just freezes there. So I tried
loading in SAFE MODE, again it would load the drivers then ...

I am trying to set up my wifes new laptop so that she can use at her school
and at home.  
Here is my problem, Her school uses Novell, and a program called zenworks
(xenworks), and it screwes EVERYTHING up.
