ok maybe someone can help I have a system that was running windows 98 fine with no issues. I backed it up to tape then formatted and repartioned the hard drive and reloaded 98 then installed xp sp1 in the other partion. win98 still works fine

I installed Office 97 on my son's XP Home laptop. He's not an admin (no way Jose!). I did find the KB article on how to get spelling and grammar working; but he still has a problem with the custom dictionary.

For differents reasons I need to start in safe mode.Reasons are out of the scope. Have XP SP2. Since I am SP2 i am enable to start windows in safe mode. Use F8 on startup or "/safemode" via MSCONFIG.
