My question guys is whether you can add a whole subnet to the exceptions list rather than open all the different ports for all the different subnets as this would be alot of mucking around.... Nortons firewall and Zone alarm can do this.

When windows explorer opens, the right panel stays blank for a long time until the files in the hard drive are listed. Defragmenting makes no difference. Is there a registry adjustment that I can make to speed things along?

I've just installed IIS 5.1 on Windows XP SP 2 and cannot see the default website. I type http://localhost in my browser and after about 10 minutes I get a "Page cannot be displayed" error. Does anyone know if I need any additional setup?
