Hello, I have a problem with my graphic card ati 9600, don't know how

I recently upgraded my operating system from Windows 98 to Windows XP Home
Edition. One strange problem I've had since the upgrade is that I now can't
get any sound from my Roland SC8850 sound module through my PC monitors. I
hear all other system sounds ok & CDs & MP3s play fine ...

On all our Windows XP SP1 the Windows Firewall is turned on.  WE cannot turn
it off as this is grayed out.  I have checked all setting, including the
Server Group policy.

I'm suddenly losing all my toolbars in windows explorer and I'm also losing
all my desktop shortcuts.
