I am setting up my new instillation of windows xp with numerous partitions to sort out my files and one of these partitions is only for temp files. I have been able to move my pagefile and all of the temp folders onto this partition, but I cant get the hibernation file to

I have two disks, where should I put my paging file? Drive C: is NTFS on one disk and drive D: is FAT32 on another disk. I'm tempted to make it drive D: but it is fat32. Is FAT32 on another disk better than NTFS on drive C:?

Hello, I am trying to get get six laptops that are on a domain to connect to a wireless network BEFORE a user attempts to login. This is critical, because at the moment the laptops need to be connected to a CAT5 cable before they are booted and logged into then disconnected.

According to what I understand so far, a Windows XP workstation which is part of an AD domain will need to contact a domain controller at startup. It will query the DNS for a particular SRV record in which it should find information about the domain controller.

Windows XP Pro, SP2 I found I had a problem with an ASP site I run locally. The user of that site couldn't logon. In local security policies, user rights assignment, the 'logon locally' option in uneditable, and has a different icon. What gives?
