is there some way to check that oem installed win from shop is original-unchanged version? i suspect that some vendors could modify installation and incorporate some spyware or other malicious software.

I have Windows XP Pro loaded. It used to do this but now it does not. When I plug in my camera into the USB slot, it does not pop up the wizard that used to pop up asking me what I wanted to do with the pictures in my camera.

I posted a question before, but i can't seem to find it - not sure why. I have windows xp home. If I go to my administration area, and under the management, I can click on the current partition, but there is no option to create a new partition.

I have just upgraded from WXP Home to Pro. I have not activated the Windows firewall. There is a firewall in my router and I use Firefox and Thunderbird for Internet and email. Anyhow my wireless router does not work properly. Any suggestions.

I set the resolution to all of the different options and the monitor still acts as if it is a wide screen, but it is not. If I try resizing the display so it fits in the screen all the icons and windows look squished.
