I want to write some VB code to fetch memory metrics from the registry. It needs to run on both Win9x and XP. I have found the values I need in the Win9x resistry at the key listed below but the XP registry has a different format.

In all versions of Windows I get quite annoyed when I (or collegues) use the Windows Explorer, and accidentally "drag and drop" a folder to a new location, most of the times not even noticing it. Quite often systems shut down because folders aren't there where they are supposed to ...

It used to be that my Taskbar apps grouped together, and the checkbox in my "Taskbar and Start Menu Properties" Control Panel option is indeed checked. Yet, all of a sudden, my apps are not grouping at all! Just appearing to the right on the Taskbar.

I'm working in a computer with a friend but each have a different ID. Today i noticed that default path for IIS has been changed to G:\ which the default path is: (C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ assuming windows is installed in drive C)

My system has stopped recognizing EXE files as well as LNK files. I think the association in the registry is bad BUT since the system cannot recognize EXE files, I cannot run REGEDIT.EXE. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

I used ot have a visual keyboard application that let me see what characters different keys and key combinations would produce under different language settings. I think I downloaded it from Microsoft. ??? It seems to have gotten up and walk away.
