I've Windows XP Professional SP2 installed. Lately I've installed .NET
Framework 1.1 and immediately  my Welcome screen has changed to a kind of
split screen with my name, and color icon  on the right side.

Hello all.  I posted this in the XP.basics group and then found this group,
which seems to be the more appropriate firum. I apologize for the two
basically identical posts.
My first desktop PC running XP Pro came with XP Pro preinstalled and

Users "My recent documents" -folder have hundreds of files in them.
It works correctly from the Windows, it shows only 15 last one used. But
the directory in their profile contains links to all the files, not just
the last 15..

To keep my System clean (which I need for office) i've mirrored the
primary XP-Partition (let's call id hd0.0 for convenience) to another
partition on the same drive (for gaming and testing - hd0.1).
