When some program run long operation the windows XP not response where switch window to another aplication and back to aplication with long operation. Even if aplication sometimes do something, window is still not response. Same aplication in windows 2000 work correctly.

I've been having problems with my C: drive filling up. I've partitioned my disk to provide a 4Gbyte C drive, with the intent of using it ONLY for Windows - software installs are on E, Internet temp files on H, data on F and so on.

Which of the function keys will take you into the bios settings on most computers? I know that F2 and F8 take you to the boot menu, and Ctrl + L takes you to the Hard disk setup, but I can't remember how to get into the boot menu! WinXP Pro Intel motherboard w/Pent 4

I was wondering if anyone knows if conditions can be built into a registry hack/entry. I have a important reg hack that needs to be deployed and I can't get it done without making it conditional. I think it will work, but I can't seem to get it to work correctly.

The updater from Microsoft said that I should install 14 new updates. I went to Microsofts' website and started the update process. After rebooting the only thing the computer does now is reboot when it hits the MUP.SYS
