I can't get pass the installing page on my pc...when I turn on the pc all i

In Outlook Express, I used to be able to click on small MPG files which
would open Windows Media Player to view them. Now, the Download Manager
starts. Is there any way to have Media Player open to play the file? Thanks

I use an external modem.  If I forget to turn the modem on before I power up
the PC and turn it on after I've logged in then I get device not found
