| Permanently Hiding the Taskbar | 23 Aug 2005 03:26 GMT | 1 |
I was wondering if there's a way to permanently hide the taskbar/start menu for certain users. I need to run a particular application for certain users and I don't want them to have access to the taskbar and start menu, or anything else in the OS for that matter.

I have a Dell desktop 3 Ghz 1 Meg ram running XP Pro, and the thing has been slow since I got it. Mostly this shows up as a lag when programs load. For example, it takes a few seconds to load Word, whereas on my work laptop (also XP) it snaps to life in less than a second.
