I have a workgroup set up with 5 workstations using windos XP pro.
I tried to manage the other 4 computer from my workstation. After I select
the computer I want to manage I tried to open the Event Viewer folder, Share

I have XP pro sp2, with a history of spyware which is currently resolved.
Now, the WMI service, Windows Firewall service and the event log service,
all set to start automatically, won't start.  the error message is that the
dependency failed

I use Windows XP at home, and connect to my office network using VPN
over DSL. I leave it connected when I am at work so that I can access
my home PC from the office as well. This works fine. My problem is that
I sometimes forget to manually start the VPN connection after rebooting

When I boot up, all seems normal except I get this dialogue box entitled:
Windows - No Disk
The message is:  There is no disk in the drive.  Please insert a disk into
the drive.

one is having Xp
Other partition is 20 gb

i bought a refurbished laptop that runs XP home SP2.
I was able o change the computer name, and the registration name to mine.
but still anytime i send a job to the network printer or to put my password
from the screen saver is still displays valued customer. welcome scree also

I am developing a windows application in .Net, I have textboxs in it.
On Right clicking any textbox I have pupup menu having Copy, Paste, Select

I tried to install XP Pro over ME. I ran the choice to scan first to see if
there were conflicting programs. I uninstalled them (I thought). Now every
time I boot up the black screen wants me to choose  1. Windows ME or 2.
Cancel XP Installation.
