I've just turned my notebook on this morning and a screen came up
"Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM"
It then tells me that I can fix the problem using the original Setup CD-ROM...

Ok guys heres one for you...  I just started at this company (15
employees) all running XP SP2, they have a server running 2003.  My
issues is that if i add an icon to the desktop of the server, it pushes
it out to the desktop of the end users upon their next login.

I installed a new PC with WinXP and added it to the domain. now when I try
to login to the domain via this computer with an account that has domain
user rights I get a message, The system does not allow you to logon

I have a PC that the user set the video so high that they are overdriving the
monitor and can't get video to reset it back. I thought I can simply boot to
safe mode and dumb it back down but when I boot real mode it goes back to

I have a UC-Logic graphics tablet, pen and mouse combo and also a Wacom
graphics tablet, pen and mouse combo.
The trouble seems to be that Windows will allow one or the other but not
both.
