I have an USB ethernet adapter on my machine.
On a W2k, even if your machine was not on the network, the USB Ethernet was

Using XP Pro Sp2
my PC for some reason does not display the Printer icon in the system tray,
when documents are sent to it, or any other printer for that matter..
Any idea what could cause that?

Has anyone any idea how to fix the problem of a computer using Windows XP

Does anyone know how to change the default so that when you open an
