I'm facing a very strange behaviour at one of the new DELL D610 notebooks. The NIC doesn't start quickly at the first boot, it takes about 5 minutes to start the network connection. Can any one help.

Win XP Pro I don't know if a registry cleaner or a virus has rendered commands that have .com extensions not to work. Either from the Run command or executing from the windows\system32 folder, they load and lock on the black DOS screen.
