I posted earlier that I was having trouble with my sons sound card, but now I think it is something else, because when the sound is making the garbled, breaking up noise, the mouse cursor stops, videos hang for a split second, programs hang ever so slightly.

Does anyone know how to change the desktop language with a script - ie. English to French for all aspects including the GINA. Having the users go through all the steps required can lead to alot of support calls. Pushing the change with a gpo is not currently feasible.

Having a mental block about what I did wrong here. On one machine I have normal users with C:\Documents and Settings\Stephen for example. On another, I have C:\Documents and Settings\Stephen.MACHINE_NAME instead. 1. What did I do wrong?

The CPU is engaged in some unproductive activity involving spoolersv.exe. The only application loaded is Task Manager. When spoolsv.exe is eliminated from the startup sequence, the activity level drops to normal levels. Normal printing does not appear to be affected.

I recently had a system meldown. I reinstalled Windows XP SP2 and all updates. The system runs fine except. I have a dos program which ran fine before with the same system parameters. Now however it will not run.

BootMagic must be installed on a FAT partition. So, if you have an NTFS system you must create a FAT partition. My system was FAT32, which is okay, I installed BM on FAT, but I went and converted it to NTFS.
