On my XP home, SP2, machine, the only administrator user account was accitently deleted. Now it only has a user with limited permissions. With this account I have no internet access. How do I restore the deleted administrator account or create a new administrator account?

I recently installed SATA drive but now my PCI IDE card is not showing drive attached. BIOS says things are fine but System will not boot unless I unplug cable from Promise card. Any known incompatibility issues? Thanks.

My motherboard recently failed. I replaced it. The version of XP that I was using came preloaded with the computer I purchased. Microsoft no longer recognizes that copy of Wndows as authentic. How do I get around this, or do I have to purchase another copy?

It is possible to modify the blue color from the taskbar to another color, but without changing the visual styles neither the desk color?. Also, in those alone visual styles you can select 3 colors, blue, silver and green.

Musicmatch caused a hidden window to constantly reappear upon shutdown. Then sent instructions to uninstall and then reinstall. I don't think I need this program; it came with my Dell machine and I've used it once or twice out of curiosity.

I formated my Compaq laptop HD. My only working CD is external. I loaded XP from the external CD to the hard drive. But drivers are not loaded for modem, etc. Compacq has a 4 disk set of Systenm Recovery, but it does not recognize the external CD drive. Says Drive Q not
