How can I manage an ASR Backup without a floppy disk.
XP will allow me to run a backup but without a floppy disk drive I cannot

When I click on Safely Remove Hardware, the hardware list includes the PC's
hard disk drives.  To avoid the risk of accidentally disabling a HDD, is it
possible to stop these appearing the list?

I have xp pro sp2 and I would like to order files with numeric names like it
did in other versions of windows using explorer.

I've been getting errors about TrueVector Device driver not loading,
after investigating I found it was related to a file call vsdatant.sys

I only see a few of the icons for programs running in the background after
starting Windows.  The other programs are customized to open in the Task Bar,

I had two (separate) XPPRO's installed in partitions C: and D: on my main
HD.  I say had, because I just formatted and got rid of the second one for
now as my Bluetooth Keyboard wouldn't work in the second one unless I

Obviously each user can set his/her own screen saver and power options
settings, but I would like to alter the default settings if possible.

Following is a brief discription of my problem:
In Controll panel the add new hardware, add or remove software and system
applications open briefly when executed and then closes by itself.  As a
result I cannot add new hardware or manage my software.

Two people share a home computer. Each has a profile defined that they log on
to.. When I log on using my id and password, I do not see "My Computer" on
the desktop. When the other person logs on, there is no problem. I see the
drives, my computer on the desktop.

Ive used the help menu to go to the "User Accounts" but a get a message
saying "Fast switching is disabled ,Client services must be uninstalled from
netware".
