Something happened to my all users desk top folder.  For the past few months
or so, when I load a program, it does not get added to the all users
desktop.  Additionally, I cannot delete icons for which the programs were

I have tried migrating domain users from PC(Win2K) to another
PC(WinXP). Most of the settings is migrated, except that the network
printers is not migrated. I am using domain admin priviledge to perform

The defragmentation finished even though much of the hard drive still has

I've noticed that my sound scheme does was not playing, I am unsure when the
problem started and have no restore points available to restore to.
I am sure the problem is not hardware related as there have been no changes

I have 50 PCs that are used in a research centre. The PCs are accessed by
many different users daily.

Been having firewire problems on my Toshiba A70 laptop with XP SP2, so I'm
trying to install KB885222 which is supposed to fix this.  Each time I've
tried I get a screen saying "Access is denied."  and an "OK" button.  When I
hit OK, I get another screen that says "KB885222 ...

Does anyone have a script handy to change the default location of the paging
file?  By default it is c:\pagefile.sys.   I'd like a script that moves it
to D and then leaves no paging file on C.
Anybody know how to do this?
