I'm trying to trace down why my boot time is so long (3-4 minutes). I used
Boot Vis (gives boot time as 189 secs, with about 90 secs of no activity
except for 2 cpu usages), and on the Disk I/O graph is the message "Warning:

I use 6 User Accounts on my system, each of which use AOL v9.0 under a
different
screen name.  Additionally, I have a primary account on which I load all of
my programs,

When i click on add/remove windows components it cycles through
configuration components, says it's successful and that's it. I never
get into changing windows components.

Machine: Dell Inspiron 5160, Win XP SP 2, all updates.
I have reset the default power mgmt schemes per KB# 913622 using powercfg
/RestoreDefaultPolicies. All default policies are in place and numbered 0-5
in the registry.

I made the mistake of installing close to 5000 fonts into the windows/fonts
folder & I never realized that it could make things runs slow, etc.
Now I'd like to remove all but the default system fonts but I don't know how
to do that or which ones they are.
