I'm using Windows XP SP1.
I have recently changed a drive letter on my system, and rather than
uninstall and reinstall loads of apps I want to change all references in the
registry from the old path to the new one. Is there any way of doing this

Is there a positive way force the drive letters to stay put? (e.g. a registry
edit?, start-up file edit?, anything?)
I have been fighting this issue for a while now, and am not making any
