If I'm using a firewall from another company such as Norton do I need to
turn off the Windows Firewall?
What's the official line on this? Can't find anything anywhere!

I can't start Windows Imaging Acquisition Services on my laptop.  All
services that WIA is dependent on start normally.  I am unable to use
scanners, cameras, and other devices because this service won't start.  I am
