Resently ran chkdsk, im running xp home edition, half way through chkdsk froze. I rebooted and now windows will not load. Tried rebooting from CD and cant repair, or delete the version on my computor. Anyone have suggestions?

The system tray icons disappear even after restarting the system. Only 5 of the 10-15 that used to appear in the tray are now visible although the applications operate normally. How can I remedy this?

I'm trying to clean up a computer that had a lot of unwanted stuff opening at startup. I ran msconfig and cleaned out the startup programs. Ran Control Panel/Add and Remove Programs, cleaned that out. Now on startup I still get these messages:

I accidentally told Windows not to offer to remember any more passwords while browsing, and can't work out how to enable this again. Was using Firefox Version 1.5.0.6 at the time in IE tab mode. Doers anybody know how to get Windows to remember more passwords?
