Is there anyway to stop Windows Messenger launching in the background when I
start Outlook Express. I've already configured Outlook not to sign me in but
it still launches the program into my system tray (albeit not signed in).
I'd like to disable it so it stays off and unloaded ...

I would like to remove all traces and remnants of a program in Windows XP.
Is there any software I can use to do so?  I'd like it to clean out the
files, registry, any hidden files, etc.  - a clean sweep.
FYI, the program is Firefox this time.  It won't allow me into my Yahoo

I am having problem watching streaming video on my computer. However, I am
only using about half of my physical memory while the other half is listed as
system cache. How do I change that system cache so that more physical memory
will be used for streaming video?

Then you open Window Explorer you will see that user's

I have XP pro on a newer HP laptop.  Boot up seems to take too long,
and once the machine is running, the HD appears to work excessively for
about 10 minutes.  After that period, the machine stabilizes, although
it still seems a bit slow.

I've got a new laptop with a widescreen.  My desktop ICONS and
Shortcuts are arranged perfectly.  
Sometimes I run an app or play a game that needs a different SCHEME --
for example, 800x600 resolution, centered, maintain aspect ratio.
