I have a couple of programs that won't work and I think it is because of the ODBC drivers. (photoshop elements is one - when trying to open photos and organize). I have reinstalled XP SP2 patch. I have tried to download the drivers (v2.8)

This problem makes me so frustrated. On my Windows XP (SP2) machine, in Control Panel -> Region and Language Options -> Advanced, the "Code page conversion tables" list and "Language for non-Unicode programs" list are both completely EMPTY!

Running XP with SP2. I cannot get the Safe Mode/ Command Prompt etc menu up when I press F8 at start up. I can however press DEL which gets me into BIOS or F11 which gives me the 'boot from' options.

Does "settings" include all of the registry settings so that one can this actually do an install?? So if I use FAST to move all of the files for a program and also the settings for it, would that effectively accomplish an install?
