I have an error message "Task Manager has been disabled by administrator".
When I boot up I get up to login and there is no administrator login. So I
put in my password and it takes me to the main back ground but nothing on it
and I can't right or left click anywhere nothing ...

I would like to temporary disable plug and play hardware scanning in Windows
XP. This because I'm deleting hardware with devcon, but windows automatically
rescans for new hardware immediately.
Does anyone have a solution?

To get the drive letters in "My Computer" to show before the label, in
PowerToys Tweakui I need to check "Never Show drive Letters". Weird.

After installing Norton Security 2006, I am not getting any buttons of my

I recently had to use system restore. However I then tried to go  back to my
restoration point by clicking this option. I  now only have a wallpaper
screen . I can access all files and programmes through task manager. How do I
get past the blank screen
