I discovered a problem whilst checking some of my pref settings... I went to 'user accounts' in the control panel & it failed on me...? I got the error message "Wrong number of arguments or invalid property assignment" instead...

I would like to temporary disable plug and play hardware scanning in Windows XP. This because I'm deleting hardware with devcon, but windows automatically rescans for new hardware immediately. Does anyone have a solution?

To get the drive letters in "My Computer" to show before the label, in PowerToys Tweakui I need to check "Never Show drive Letters". Weird.

After installing Norton Security 2006, I am not getting any buttons of my open windows in the Taskbar. I checked the Taskbar properties and everything seems to be good. If I remove QuickLaunch then the complete Taskbar gets minimized.
