When I get into Window Exlpore (XP) the photo icons are all the same PhotoImpact icons and it does not show the individual photos. How can I correct Window Explore to show each individual photo?

I would like to know whether there are any programs or scripts that when a Windows Schedule is performed successful or failed an email notification is sent informing the user whether the schedule was successful or unsuccessful. Do you know ?

This was the 1st update of a clean XPSP2. I have sixty of these things in F:\Windows. Maybe there was some other way than the Administrator option to update which would have created fewer files? Can I create a subdirectory to hold them?? Do I need to keep them?

Laptop, xp pro, has large drive, 2 partitions, small partition with OS, large partition with nothing. Desktop, xp pro, contains all data, more data than the OS partition for laptop has.

I have always created shortcuts to folders, drives, etc., and when I would click on the shortcut of a drive, an Explorer window would open, and be showing all of the directories and files in the root of the drive. However, that does not work any more on one of my XP systems.

I just installed XP on a new hard drive. The hard drive is named E, the floppy is A, the DVD/CD is D and a zip 100 is C. Should I be concerned that the hard drive is E? Is it worth changing it to C?
