All of a sudden, I noticed that my XP Pro system is no longer asking for my

In Disk Management, I have a SATA drive that shows the Layout and Type as
Dynamic/Simple. Is there any way I can change it to Partition/Basic like my
other drives? Deleting the partition and reformatting does not change it to
Partition/Basic. Thanks for any help.

I'm trying to find a way to remove the overlay on Offline Files on windows XP
(the black clock icon in the lower left corner. Tried TweakUI but that only
