I usually use performance monitor to see how fast my hard drives are copying or reading files and to check download speed. Now as I am copying a file or folder, when I check the speed of read or write, it dispays 0 bytes/sec. on all counters for the physical disks.

Every time I start windows explorer the My Documents folder is open and it takes up almost the entire page, leaving me no room to look at my hard drives. I would like to have all trees collapsed when I open explorer. Does anyone know how to do this?

Thank you for reviewing this post. It is a hard one for me to describe. System in question is using XP Home. Remember WIN98 and Themes? Remember the one with the haunted-looking house and the sounds that accompanied it, the creaking door, etc?
