I have a problem in that many of the program dialogue boxes that pop up to choose settings are improperly sized too small (both vertically and horizontally) and thus keep me from accessing buttons normally located on the bottom and to the far right of the box. Text is often clipped.

I have done a reformat of my drive and now I'm trying to reinstall XP. Everything works fine until I get to the end user license agreement. I push F8 to agree and nothing happens, it just sits there. I can Cancel so I know it's not locked up.

XP friends, I just upgraded a computer (name APPLE) on a small office workgroup (not in a domain) from Windows 2000 Pro to Windows XP Pro. Everything seemed to proceed correctly and APPLE is up and running.

I've got a Gateway MX6000 notebook with WinXP Pro up-to-date SP2. I've never plugged a memory card into it before, but have a 4GB RiData X150 SD card left over from a Dell x51v fiasco I'd like to use with it, now that the Dell PDA has gone home, permanently (another sad story).

Hello Group, In an effort to save local resources I elected to try the built-in Remote Assistance feature of Windows XP instead of installing some 3rd party remote agent software we've used in the past (Altiris Carbon Copy).

I know when I right click on the desktop, I should have the ability to either show or no show the desktop top icons. Instead, when I do the right click, I get a grayed out line that says "Show in groups" and not the choice of show or no show the icons.
