My system completely crashed (long story) The only way to get up and running

I recently inherited a few labs of computers which have some difficulty
when attempting to use a USB Mass Storage Device, such as a USB Flash
Drive or a USB Hard Drive.  These machines are running Windows XP Pro
SP2 joined to a domain.
