I got a bunch of photos (JPGs)in a folder from my daughter. If I use Windows XP Explorer to view them (using Thumbnail or Filmstrip view) many of them are rotated 90 degrees CW. This is not unusual - she's taken Portrait shots.

I am krazee about checking, checking everything on my machine.....every Sunday is spyware-adware-chkdsk-scannow day. I haven't updated or installed anything this week and all my drivers etc. are up to date.

i am getting an "error 1714" when i try to install a new version of adobe reader. and i cannot uninstall the old version using anything!! so i was going to try the windows installer clean-up tool to fix the problem. but i would like to back up my registry first. how do i do

I have Windows Firewall enabled but its not asking to block any new programs. To test it I unchecked all the programs in the EXCEPTIONS tab and the Firewall is still not asking for approval to block or unblock.
